Audi’s beloved TT sports coupe has just hit a major milestone. The automaker confirmed that it has officially produced more than 500,000 units of this automotive design icon. To celebrate this feat, Audi is introducing an exclusive special edition TTS competition model.

Limited to just 500 units, the special edition TTS will be available in both coupe and roadster variants, and it will be powered by the standard TTS’  2.0-liter TFSI four-cylinder engine that produces 272-horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. Buyers will be able to opt for a either a six-speed S tronic automatic or a manual transmission. The TTS special edition coupe will be able to sprint from 0-60 mph in just 5.3 seconds with the S tronic while 5.5 seconds is possible with the manual. Expect slightly slower times for the open air version.
